RE: Public Records Act request
Under the Public Records Act, RCW 42.56, I am requesting all records regarding a 2018 Citizen’s Hotline complaint with the State Auditor’s Office (SAO) regarding the Port of Seattle and Seafair in 2017. The investigation resulting from this complaint began in 2018 and is likely closed at this time.
This request includes but is not limited to the following records:
*all internal and external staff communications related to the Citizen Hotline complaint and/or Seafair;
*all records reflecting, including or relating to deliberations, decisions, or outcomes of the complaint;
*all records related to a meeting on November 13, 2018 with the SAO;
*all records regarding the closure of the rooftop at Pier 66 in Seattle in August 2017, including the names of individuals and/or organizations requesting the closure of the rooftop.
Please note that I have received some responsive records from the Port of Seattle from a November 25, 2018 records request that provided records up to that date. I am not seeking records that have already been provided.
Records include letters, e-mail messages, recorded messages, photographs, videos and all other types of documents or records regardless of format. Records include all government-related records that are “used” by the agency, even if they are not presently in the agency’s files (i.e., a private consultant’s records.)
This concludes the information I am requesting through this Public Records Act request.
Please let me know before making copies if copying fees will exceed $50.00. I would prefer to receive information in electronic form through e-mail. Please send e-mail responses or questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I would appreciate your handling this request as quickly as possible. I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to call or e-mail if you have any questions or desire clarification of any of the specific requests.
Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
