Dear Mr. Wilen;


In accordance with the Washington State Public Records Act, RCW Ch. 42.56, I respectfully make the following public records disclosure request of the Port of Seattle (“Port”).


For purposes of this letter, “public records” or “documents” shall mean any writing, in either paper or electronic format, containing information relating to the conduct of the Port or the performance of any Port or proprietary function prepared, owned, used, or retained by the Port. These documents will not be used for any commercial purpose.

 

1) All public records, documents, communications, and other information from Jan 2013 to August 28th, 2018, relating to the relocation or establishing of any cruise ship services, leases, and other activities to Terminals 46 and Terminal 30.

 

2) All public records, documents, communications, and other information from Jan 2013 to August 28th, 2018, relating to proposed redevelopment or repurposing of Terminal 90, Terminal 91, and the corre-sponding “uplands” of Terminals 90/91.


3) All public records, documents, communications, and other information from Jan 2013 to August 28th, 2018, relating to the negotiation of all terminal leases at Terminal 46, including any current discussion of early termination of leases for TTI or successors;


4) All public records, documents, communications, and other information from Jan 2013 to August 28th, 2018, relating to the procurement and marketing of breakbulk customers at Terminals 25, 30, 46, & 90/91.


5) All public records, documents, communications, and other information from Jan 2013 to August 28th, 2018, relating to discussions with the City of Seattle, including but not limited to, the Mayor’s Office, Seattle City Council, city staff, and consultants under the employ of the City of Seattle.

If any record is exempt from disclosure, please provide a list of all items and the reason(s) for exemption.


Please contact me if I may clarify this request. I would appreciate and request the opportunity to person-ally view these documents in the Port’s offices before they are reproduced at my expense. In addition, to save time and paper, we are happy to accept these documents in electronic format in a common readable form (eg. .pdf, .doc, .txt, etc.).
